I frequently get asked about what growth hacking tools I use on a regular basis. I firmly believe in them and that why I listed them here. I wouldn’t even have a a blog if it wasn’t for those tools!
Below are my favorite email marketing, social media, blogging & SEO, analytics and automation tools.
– JUMP TO SECTION –
MailChimp is my go-to email marketing solution. It’s incredibly easy to use and its user interface deserves an award! MailChimp lets you easily manage your email lists, newsletters, and automate everything. It’s widely used and integrates with most tools. Oh, and it’s free under 2’000 subscribers!
This is pretty cool WordPress plugin for everyone who wants to grow their email list. It allows you to easily ask for a visitor’s email in exchange for an exclusive downloadable piece of content.
Bloom is the plugin I use for capturing email addresses pretty much everywhere.. It allows you to create all kinds of pop-ups, inline forms, A/B testing and has a lot of display settings to help you find what works best for you. Great think is that it integrates with numerous email service providers such as MailChimp, Aweber etc.
Buffer is the tool I use to schedule posts on social media. It’s really simple to use, allows you to set publication default times, provides analytics and allows for some nice social media automations.
It you want to use Twitter efficiently to target your perfect audience, look no further. Audiense’s powerful filters allow you to scan Twitter, follow or unfollow the right people and automate some Twitter actions like someone following you.
What an awesome social media growth hacking tool! Sniply allows you to add calls-to-action on articles or webpages that are not yours. It allows you to share interesting content from other websites while having a chance of converting your social media audience.
This WordPress premium theme is just perfect and a life-saver! I use it for all my websites. Not only is it widely used and updated very often but it’s very easy to use and flexible. You can even use a visual editor to play live with each of your pages. And it comes with the great plugins Bloom and Monarch! It also comes with the Elegant Theme subscription.
Finally a hosting company I can trust! Of the many hosting companies I’ve tried, Host With Love has definitely been the best. Support is excellent, and they’ve helped me move from my last hosting provider effortlessly. Their prices are also very affordable when compared to the competition.
Part of making your blog successful os having people share your content with share buttons. The plugin lets you personalize sharing button location, animations as well as displaying of the number of likes. It also comes with the Elegant Theme subscription.
Look no further if you’re searching for a SEO plugin that does it all. Yoast will help you with your on-page SEO, your XML Sitemap and many other things.
I’m always surprised by how many internet marketing people don’t know about Google Webmaster Tools. It’s basically how you interact with Google regarding how to index your website in Google. Connect it to your website, upload your sitemap and Google will give you insight about what keywords led people to visit your website in addition to crawling your site on a regular basis.
SE Rankings is my all-in-one SEO tool. I use it to keep track of my website’s positions in the search engines, monitor backlinks, spy on my competition as well as doing my keywork research.
Every optimisation should start with analytics. Running a website of any type without proper analytics tracking set is like shooting in the dark. Any webmaster should review their traffic to look for acquisition sources, visits and behavior analytics.
If you’re looking for more advanced analytics with a strong focus on behavior, Amplitude is your perfect analytics solution. It allows you to create advanced cohorts, find your “Aha moment” and build powerfull dashboards (following the AARRR framework) with email alerts.
Zapier is an advanced automation solution that allows you to connect the tools you use together. As with any automation tool you have to setup a trigger and a set of actions that follow that trigger. You can automate so much things with Zapier it’d be ridiculous not to use it!
If you want to get a taste of what automation feels like, try IFTTT (if this then that). Just connect to your favorite web apps, choose recipes, and you’re in business! Note: it integrates mostly with personal life apps compared to Zapier.
NOTE: Some of the links below are affiliate links which means that if you purchase something, I’ll get a small comission (at no extra cost for you). It’s a great way to encourage my blog and remember, I only recommend tools I have used and loved!
